The objective of the pre-launch teaser ads is to create a buzz by influencing consumers to imagine their perfect burger.
The teaser ads are a series of red and white advertisements simply stating delicious burger combinations.
The Wimpy logo will not feature the brand name but only the silhouette.
Media
The media selection is picked for maximum visibility for our target market. The city will be sprinkled with Wimpy’s red and white advertisements, which will be placed on buses, underground stations, billboards and Internet banners.
These Internet banners will be linked to our micro-site which will invite users to describe their perfect burger and fill in their contact details.
The purpose of the microsite is two fold; first it can act as a form of initial market research. Secondly, we can start building a customer database. Those who enter their details will be sent email notification of the launch party.
